Sales Magic - A Life Changing Experience
Meet
the Instructor.
Doug Jones has been a sales instructor, sales manager,
and sales person for more than thirty years.
Doug graduated from the Dale Carnegie Sales Course in
1971 and for many years assisted students in the Dale
Carnegie Course as a Group Leader.
He has been a Sales Manager and Marketing Director in
the financial services field since 1974. He spent 10
years with Avco Financial Services as Manager and
Marketing Supervisor. He has managed for Old Stone Bank,
U.S. National Bank, and Security Pacific.
It was from the requests of employees that Doug opened
Sales Magic in 1996.
In addition to teaching sales, Doug is active as a magician and
motivational speaker.

Gloria Martin
Facilitator
Gloria has been a facilitator with Sales Magic since
1996. Gloria works as the "Go To" person with the
administration functions and assists students to make
their training profitable and enjoyable. Gloria works
with students one-on-one to help them understand and
apply the Sales Magic concepts.
Joe Adamson
Instructor
Joe has been involved in sales training since he began
his career in lending in 1972 with an international
consumer finance institution. As a financial services
manager, one of his primary responsibilities was
training including loan officers and administrative
personnel. The primary emphasis of the training was in
the sale of financial and related products.
After a short stint in branch management, Joe was
promoted to an area executive position encompassing five
states and over eighty branches. One of his
responsibilities was to develop and oversee sales
training for the entire area and to conduct week-long
formal sales training sessions three or four times each
year.
In 1990 Joe left the national corporate world to join in
forming Mortgage Magic, a mortgage brokerage, that
incorporated in 1991. Sales Magic was formed shortly
thereafter and Joe has taught numerous sales classes
since its inception. He has expanded his sales training
knowledge through the study of numerous sales and
marketing training programs and he continues to conduct
training programs for loan agents, real estate agents,
financial planners, etc, with a focus on sales
techniques that provide value both to the client and the
sales professional.
